Help Us to Improve Cancer Care and give back to Chattanooga

The city of Chattanooga, Tennessee has been a wonderful host over the past several years, welcoming triathletes from all backgrounds and countries to fantastic local races as well as world-class Ironman competitions. Although all of the athletes have the resources to travel to Chattanooga, many of the people who are in need of cancer care here do not. The Cupake Cartel wants to give back, so for this year's Ironman Chattanooga 70.3 race on May 19, 2019, we plan on taking care of some of the locals. We will be specifically fundraising to help improve access to cancer care, by providing free hotel vouchers, gas cards, and meal cards to patients receiving cancer treatment. We plan to present these to the cancer centers on the Saturday before the race. Even better, American Bicycle Group, the makers of Quintana Roo and Lightspeed bicycles, and also a local Chattanooga company, has made an offer to sweeten the Cupcake fundraising efforts. Any person who donates $50 or more will have their name added for a drawing to be completed on Friday May 17, 2019 for a brand new Quintana Roo PRFive Disc Carbon Fiber triathlon frameset in a size and color of your choice. Your name will be added again to the drawing for every $25 increment beyond that, so a $75 donation puts your name in twice, $100 donation three times, etc.
